It is a three-part sky lighting system that consists of a UV Coated Polycarbonate Corrugated Clear Outer Cover, a Flat Thermal Insulated Multi-Cell Bottom Panel for thermal insulation, and a customized Polycarbonate Single Skin Trapezoidal Skylight Panel which serves as a liner.
The pre-fabricated modular components of the Barrel Vaults can easily and quickly be assembled at sites using the standing seam verge components without the need to modify, alter, or reinforce the roof.
The arch-shaped self-supported thermoformed Outer Cover made of UV-protected Clear Polycarbonate captures and concentrates large amounts of sunlight. The light collected by the Outer Cover is diffused by the RHINO TUFF Multi-Cell Panel underneath it which also blocks solar heat. The Multi-Cell Panel rests over a customized Polycarbonate Single Skin Skylight Panel which serves as a liner and helps in linear and side-ways extension.
The Outer Cover is assembled at sites by bringing together and overlapping the modular units of the Polycarbonate Outer Cover comprising of up-slope units, continuation, and down-slope units for long uninterrupted runs over the roofs or to form small individual lighting units in the desired size.
