RHINO TUFF GRP SOAKER PLATES hold skylighting and ventilation equipment over a corrugated steel roof.
They are manufactured by reinforcing a superior grade of UV Stabilized Polyester Resin with Glass Fibre after application and curing of Gel-Coat to obtain exceptional physical, mechanical and thermal properties.
They are mechanically strong, impact resistant, weatherable and chemical corrosion resistant and have a wide service temperature range. They can be made to resist fire, if the application so requires.
They can be customized in terms of design, size, corrugation and colour to perfectly match project requirement. A perfect match of corrugation ensures proper and easy integration with the roof with no requirement for waterproofing. It allows the fixing of the ventilation equipment anywhere over the steel roof and not just the ridge.
The GRP Soaker Plates have a differential height to keep the ventilation and skylighting equipment upright and perpendicular to the ground when installed over a sloped roof. They are also designed to facilitate a rapid drain of rain water from over its surface.
Their smooth gel-coated outer surface prevents an accumulation of dust and ensures easy cleaning. The Gel-Coat serves as a protective barrier that guards against environmental degradation and mild chemical corrosion.
