POLYCARBONATE BARREL VAULT SKYLIGHTS FOR STANDING SEAM ROOFS

POLYCARBONATE BARREL VAULT SKYLIGHTS FOR STANDING SEAM ROOFS are self-supported arch-shaped barrel-vaulted skylights that are fixed over standing seam roofs for soft-diffused natural light while limiting the transfer of solar heat into the building. They have a modular design and consist of the following three Pre-Fabricated Components:

1. UV protected Polycarbonate Outer Cover (made up of up-slope, continuous and down-slope units) that is 90% transparent like clear glass to collect and concentrate maximum amount of sunlight from dawn to dusk including low angle light rays.
2. UV protected Intermediary Thermal Panel that serves as a heat barrier that limits transmission of solar heat as well as sound into the building while diffusing light captured by the Outer Cover.
3. Polycarbonate Clear Single-Skin Corrugated Liner Panel in a corrugation matching with that of the corrugated steel sheets for linear extension and sideway overlaps.

The Polycarbonate Barrel Vaults can be assembled at sites using the verge components of the standing seam roofs without the need to modify, reinforce or penetrate it so as to maintain its integrity. The Barrel Vaults can easily and quickly be assembled to form individual lighting units in the desired sizes or for long uninterrupted runs over the roof.
